oh, the puppies…who knows how that will work. coco seems to respond pretty well to babies and children. my biggest concern with her is the excessive licking [that could be problematic]. and then there is charlie. he is a little too aware and consequently perturbed when he sees a small child or hears baby sounds. he is also my little cuddle-buddy so at some point, he won’t be able to curl up on my lap the same way that he is accustomed. this could be jarring for him. he is very jealous and particular when it comes to my attention and affection. hmmm…
we are so thankful for our little gift. we are so excited about the pregnancy and can’t wait to meet our little one. moreover, we look forward to watching s/he grow in the love and knowledge of Christ. what a blessing and precious gift that we have been entrusted with. wow.
